Still set for the 26th...

Sorry for the delay in updating the blog... Things have been a little crazy and I have been a little on the lethargic side lately. At my last appointment last Wednesday - Dr. suggested it was best to leave the bambino in to bake as long as we could. I know its what is best for baby- and so life goes - a mom will always suffer a lil for the benefit of her child huh... and I am getting thru it. The numbness and back pain is still pretty bad - but luckily I can still take some of my back meds which has been helping... I just cannot stay in one position for long; which makes sleeping the worst... but only 6 more days now - and we just cannot wait to meet our new little guy.

Our next and last appointment is this Thursday. So, unless there are any changes, or baby decides to come earlier on his own, arrival date is still looking to be Monday, January 26th @ 3:30 pm. (although secretly, mom would like him to come a day early, that way Kolton and him will both be 25th babies!) either way -a safe delivery and a healthy mom and babe is our only goal! I will update if anything changes!

Kolton is doing great also (btw) he loves the days he still gets to go to daycare, and he has been saying the most amusing things lately... last night he came into my room late (yes he should have been sleeping) and out of no where said - "why cant i be 4 or 5 or 6 or go to school yet?" I told him TRUST me, you dont want to grow up that fast - he told me yes he did - he wanted to me mom and dads age - I had to laugh -I told him I would trade with him in a heartbeat if i could... :)

Take care everyone!

More Updates...

Okay, last Tuesday (36 weeks) Doc officially put be me on maternity leave- so I have been home since Wednesday - but still really uncomfortable and waking up with my leg and arm numb (partly from my back issues) - and just really exhausted and in a lot of pain - but what nine month prego isn't?!?!?

C-Section is still officially scheduled for the 26th @ 3:30pm, however doc says if the numbness, etc. gets too bad, he is willing to go ahead with amnio and move the c-section up a week... my next appt is Wed - and I will be 37 weeks, so we will see how i am coping and what he says then...

It has been nice to have Kolton home with me, (but further exhausting) -and he started crying for a second this morning because he WASN'T going to daycare - so i guess he doesnt feel the same JK - but I know he does miss the interaction with the other kids, and he loves to be at Sue's... So we are gonna continue to send him @ least once a week while I remain on maternity leave- to see his friends, keep him in the swing of things and give mommy some new baby time too. I am so anxious to see how Kolton is going to interact with this babe... So far so good, he seems really excited to be a big brother. But, I am no dummy - Im sure we will have our tribulations, and moments of jealousy. I am just hoping the 3.5 year age gap helps with that (at least for now!)

I will update after my next appt.

Take Care Everyone!
