Summer Madness...

Busy. Busy. Busy... Thank goodness the babysitter has time to play with the boys at the park...

Hey all - sorry for the delayed updates... we have been super busy getting ready for Andy and Lindsey's wedding... bacherlotee parties and all that the weddingness entails...
The wedding was Aug 1 - Scott, Kolton and I were all in the wedding... and Kolton was adorable! unfortunately... I did not have my camera - so i have to wait to get pics from others - it was a beautiful wedding though... Codgrats Mr. & Mrs. Godfather! :)
Lets see, Seger almost 6 1/2 months old now - sitting up like a champ -cruise'n in his walker, but not so much crawling yet - also, no teethers poking thru yet... his six month check up is next wednesday... so we will see how big chubs really is - we are pretty much only wearing 12 months & some 12-18 mos even... he likes to yell right now, alot - think he just discovered his voice... :) i yell back at him and he laughs hysterically...

Kolton is doing phenomenal - he has been giving me a little extra lip lately, which mom is not liking - but watching him at the wedding, and everyone else even commenting - he was so good - very well behaved - he is my little man..., overall - he is a good doobie! We are currently working on adding - he catches on so quickly, so proud of him... he had to get iv sedation today to get his abcess tooth pulled... he did great and is at home recooperating right now... he is such a trooper with those darn teeth of his... Tooth fairy should leave him a couple G's for that darn tooth - but it will prolly be more like Two dollars... i think thats all thats in the tooth fairy's budget... ha!!!

LOVE my boys!!! :)

Other then that, just trying to enjoy summer as best we can with this crapola weather... Some of the pics i took with my poopy phone camera... sorry they are not too clear...

update...

Hello All! - So sorry, it's been like a month or more since I updated this... Things have been busy, busy, busy - after Segers baptism, Daddy's birthday was June 1 (next year is the big 30 Daddy!) - then Fathers Day... and Kolton just turned the big 4 years old on 06/25/09 - Happy Birthday Kolton! (I will try to post pics from his birthday asap) Kolton had an awesome birthday- on his actual birthday, he went to daycare with his birthday boy t-shirt on, and brought cupcakes and bubbles for the kids - then Mommy, Daddy, Kolton, Jacob, GODFATHER, and Lindsey went to see the new Transormer movie (it was awesome!) - then Saturday, we had a "transformer" birthday party with friends and family at the house - it was a great day - and all the kids played in the pool and on the slip n slide - Kolton got some wonderful gifts, most of which were transformer related. (go figure) he was ecstatic. I know I keep saying it - but its really hard to believe that Kolton is already 4 years old... WOW~

Seger is now 5 months old - he is laughing and smiling all the time and rolling over - we are still working on the sitting up thing, he can sit for a few moments if he is intrigued with something in front of him, otherwise he just gets super excited and throws himself backward - he also love love loves jumping in his jumper with the music up loud - he loves music too - and eating - but his fav thing of all time right now is KOLTON - if he even catches a glimpse of Kolton he is nothing but smiles and so excited. Kolton calls Seger "Chub" and its so adorable when Kolton is like " Chub, Chub - Hi Chub!" Kolton also loves making Seger smile - Wouldnt it be wonderful if they would get along like this FOREVER - ha! (wishful thinking!)

Other than all of that, we have just been spending a lot of time outdoors latley... not sure yet what we are doing for 4th of July weekend - we are usually up in Mackinaw this for the 4th - so I am kinda sad :0( - but hopefully we will be able to make it up there next year... :0) Hopefully the weather warms up a bit - Gotta love Michigan - goes from 90 to 60 within one week.... Ugh!

Hope everyone has a fabulous 4th of July Weekend. Happy Birthday USA! :)

sorry... no pics yet...

I will get new pics up soon - I promise...

Seger was baptized on Sunday. He did great and looked adorable - I do have pics from this and will try to get some up asap. We had a nice little get-to-gether afterwards too. Thanks everyone who came, and all the nice gifts Seger received. Special thanks to Seger's awesome Godparents, Natacha and Brian! :)

Seger will be 4 months next Tuesday - which is so crazy to me. We will be getting his 4 month pics that day also, and I know Jane will get some GREAT ones! :0) - We heart you Janey Poopers! :0) Seger had some bananas last night - and was quite the fan... he ate half a jar of the tiny jar... which also led to quite a fun diaper this morning... He is so much fun, he is starting to play a lot more - he likes his jumper and exersaucer too - and he likes when mom turns up music and dances for him... Ha! bet you would pay to see that!

Kolton... let see... to start - the last soccer practice we went to - he did way way better, in fact he had a blast, and is actually quite good at it. Of course, this only lasted about halfway thru practice, when they went to scrimage... he started to lose it again, but he was soooo tired... then we missed this past Saturday's game because:
-it was 8am (we had to be there at 7:40)
-it was cold and wet
- the poor guy had a fight with our driveway, and the driveway won! He was playing with my big ol exercise ball (that i should play with more myself) and he bounced it and it bounced back and knocked him over - forehead to the cement - OUCHH! He instantly had a HUGE goose egg - but it was looking better... then yesterday, when he got to daycare, he hit the same spot on her brick outside, and made it bleed... seriously? well he is a trooper - (i do have a pic of this also) hopefully the battle wound will be gone in time for his 4 year old pics in June...

Next soccer game is not until June 6th - so wish us luck! :)

Can you believe Kolton will be 4 Years old on 06/25/09 - that is even crazier to believe then Seger turning 4 months... :) Where oh where does the time go?

Enjoy the nice weather everyone & the long holiday weekend! I will try to get the pics up soon! :0)

Soccer = So, So...

So... still I have no new pics- but i will get some up soon... I promise!

Okay, so... so far, not so great with soccer. Kolton had a great time at his first practice - but had a freakout at his first game, and did not play at all. Then our second practice got rained out... :0( - and then there was our second game - again, another freak out. He did go "in" this game - but it took quite some coaxing and then he just stood there and pouted. He is so bout it bout it all week, and then the second we get to the game, he tells me he didnt really want to come today - its like the crowd of parents intimidates him - which doesnt seem like a Kolton thing - so its very frustrating. He LOVES playing at home - and he did great at his first practice - so I think its just nerves - and hopefully he gets past it - we really dont want him to be afraid of new experiences - so we are gonna stick it out - just hope he starts liking the games as much as practice... (and yes i told him the game was practice - but you know Kolton is too smart for most tricks...) :) We have practice on Thursday and our next game is Saturday - so wish us luck! :)

Seger babe is doing great. He still has some congestion in his chest and nose that we cannot seem to shake - but other then that - he is so much fun. He is sleeping great for us - usually from 9 or 10 to 5am - cannot complain about that! :) and he loves to lay on his changing table and yell yell yell at his truck mobile - hilarious! he is a chubbers though - he's wearing 6 to 9 months now - and i just bought one more box of size 2 diapers - but i think the next box will have to be 3's - I am gonna get him on the Wii scale soon here and see what we jumped up to. He's our little medicine ball! :) Seger is getting baptized on 05/17/09 - hopeful he doesnt yell so much in there - or scream like he did this past Sunday at church... :)

We are loving the nice weather - we went for a walk last night to the park and dad, Kolton and Seabass hiked up a small trail near our house - Kolton had a blast - and Seger had fun in his stroller checking everything out. (and Seabass LOVES to get out for a walk) - plus MOM needs all the walking she can get :) so it was a win win win win... just hope the nice weather sticks around now!!! :)

Kolton starts soccer practice today, and his first game is on Saturday. I cannot believe my first babe is already in a sport - crazy... well we will see how he does, if he loves it or hates it - so far he is super excited... i'll keep ya posted...

Dr. Cook says... "Good Job!"

Kolton had his dentist appt yesterday and it went great! Dr. Cook says that Kolton's teeth look absolutely wonderful, and his gums look great too! (and they better for what we spent on them! Ha! :) )

Seger has had a cold now here for a bit - and what appears to be a sore throat (as obviously he cannot tell me) but now I can most likely confirm the sore throat, as Dad and I both woke up with one this morning... Uggh!

Both the boys are home with Grandpa P today and tomorrow (daycare closed till thursday) - Hope he is doing okay... they're a handful!

Kolton told me yesterday, out of no where, that he was gonna go through his toys and give some to kids that dont have as many toys as him... i mean I have spoke of this in the past - cause he is sooo spoiled, but this was out of no where on his own free will, i kinda wanted to cry a little, but then he said, "but i am not giving away any of the toys i like" and I thought, there's my Kolton! :) A really nice boy, always thinking of others, but always still thinking of himself! :)

Quick Update...

Sorry everyone - its been a lil over a month since I updated... Just started back at work this Monday, so things have been crazier then ever. Luckily I have Wednesdays off for a least a while, or I might go crazy!

I just have the one pic of Seger for now, my computer at home is at my dads getting "refreshed"! :) Natacha took the pic when she watched the boys Monday (Thanks Tach!)

We had Segers 8 week check up on 04/03/09 - he weighed in at 13lbs 5oz - his big brother Kolton was 15lbs 3oz at his 8 week check up - both my boys are quite... Healthy! :) Seger still has some tummy issues here and there - but they are less and less... and he is sleeping pretty good for us now - especially since naughty mom is already giving him a little cereal and applesauce before bedtime! :) last night he ate almost an entire small jar of applesauce with cereal - and hour later he had about 5 oz and slept from 9:30 pm until about 4:45 this morning - FABULOUS! He will be 12 weeks already on Monday. Crazy!

Seger has been doing pretty well at daycare, and Kolton is soooo excited to be going back there to hang out with his friends. :)

We are going thru a little "thing" with Kolton right now. He has been having nightmares and been scared of the dark and going to bed at night. And if you know Kolton, you know he is clever and very imaginative - and therefore his bad dreams are detailed, and frankly they are kinda scary - one of them he dreamt worms were falling from the ceiling and crawling all over them... What? So he already has a million stuffed animals to protect him, last night he got new "happy" pjs and an optimus prime pillow to protect him from the "ghosts" and such, it was a little better - but we still had some issues - so tonight Dad and I are gonna rearrange his room in hopes of a "fresh" start. Hopefully we get thru this faze sooner then later...

Both boys had a great Easter. Kolton got all kinds of goodies, including green playsand for his turtle sandbox, Seger got a rattle and some socks, etc. We left Eggs out for the Easter bunny (dad had fun slamming three eggs down at 11:30 pm), and the Easter bunny left rhyming clues for Kolton to find his basket - he had a blast figuring out the riddles to the next clue. That Easter Bunny is pretty awesome! :) Kolton has a dentist appointment on Monday - so we will see if his million dollar smile is holding up.

Just trying to get back in to the swing of things now. I have to admit - getting two kids off to daycare and getting to work on time, is quite the challange... a lot tougher then just one... but will get a system down soon (I hope!)

FINALLY SOME NICE WEATHER IS HERE! Cannot wait to be outside with the boys this weekend! :) Enjoy Everyone!

Sick Baby...

SEGER...

Poor little munchkin caught the bug going around. He seems to be doing better... no more fever, but we still have the diareha thing going on... and we had some quite explosive moments at that. Other then the sickness, Seger still has some tummy issues - they are not as bad as they once were, but hopefully we can get them gone all together. His 2 month check up is Friday, April 3.

Seger has already outgrown his 3 month clothes, and most of his 3 to 6 months too, and we are already in size two diapers. I did put little man on the Wii fit scale, at 7 weeks, and he weighed 12 pounds 4oz - that seemed large to me... so i pulled Kolton's baby book... yeah that little fatty weighed 15 pounds 8 oz at his 2 month check up (8 weeks) so there ya go...

When Seger is not having gas issues or being sick... he really is such a good baby. He is smiling quite often now - and LOVES to stair at his truck mobile on his changing table. I cannot believe he will be 8 weeks old on Monday...

KOLTON...
Oh my Kolton! He just cannot wait for it to warm up and stay warm so he can run around outside- that and he is missing him some daycare like you wouldnt believe... Poor Sue, I dont know how she does it - he just has so much energy and runs around like a crazy person and she has like 4 of him... :)
Kolton did have the sick bug also, but only a fever and cough and only for one day - then he was fine. He usually does that though, catches only a mild case of whatever is going around... thats a-okay with me! :)
The first pic of Kolton below is right after the bathtub, where he decided to use my shaver, to shave like Daddy does... yeah nice huh - I was in and out of there putting towels away - and he never even cried or anything - he was upset because there was "something red in the bathtub" - he is crazy - so there ya have folks - Koltons first cut shaving... :)

Well thats all for now - still waiting on that warm weather... I am sure it will come just as soon as I go back to work on April 15th... ;)
Take Care Everyone!

The first 5 weeks...

Some pics... careful, most are Seger, but two are Kolton.
Even I did not realize how much they look alike... :)

Seger 5wks

Kolton

Seger - 5wks

Seger 5wks

cannot believe I captured this smile (or gas, whatever) LOVE IT!

Seger 5wks

This is Seger about two weeks...
This is Kolton, about two weeks...

Sorry for the delay in updating... busy busy busy... but where does the time go? I cannot believe Seger is already 5 weeks old today. CRAZY! and what a five weeks its been...

We had some stomach issues - started with Enfamil in the hospital - so continued with our free samples of such for about the first week after we go home, then we switched to the generic Meijer brand (which is all Kolton used btw)- and that was a no go, Seger had horrible gas and was screaming his face off - but he was fine on the regular Enfamil - so i did not think it was a lactose issue - so switched him again to the generic of the Enfamil for gassy babes - nope - that wasnt it either - and now he couldnt poop - so, switched him back to regular brand name Enfamil - I mean that worked for the first two weeks of his life - so it had to work right - wrong! Still gassy - still fussy - still having poop issues - so i had a sample can of the Similac Isomil - it took about two days - but it seemed to help, and it did infact help- we are on our second large can of the generic of the Soy and Seger is doing great - so is he actually lactose intolerant? - I do not know - but I know for now he digests the soy much better - so SOY IT IS!
Seger is sleeping is getting way better now too. Although that was not the case for Grandma my first night out. Grandma kept Seger overnight so I could go out for my birthday, and Kolton stayed with his fav sitter Emily. I had a blast - Grandma did not - Seger was up every two hours for her, and we had my cousins baby shower the next day too... Sorry Grandma! For me now though, he will usually sleep from like 11pm until 4am now, sometimes less, sometimes more- which is great compared to the first couple weeks -
I am doing okay - still not happy with my weight, or really just my huge mom pouch - i cannot seem to get my stomach down, and still cannot fit into any of my old jeans - I will punch someone... i did by the Wii fit with my birthday money - and the Jillian Michaels game/workout - so hopefully she whips my but into shape... I have done it twice so far - went down a whole pound... yeah - but its neat, it keeps track of your weight - how often and how long you work out, how many calories you burn, etc... pretty cool - Kolton got on there today - he has actually lost some weight according to that and is down to 42lbs (pick him up once though - he feel like he ways 60lbs) I will have to put Seger on there and see what he is up too - he went up a whopping oz from 7lbs 15oz at birth - to 8lbs even at his first check up - but he is a pretty good eater, so we shall see... his next appt is 04/03/09...

Other then that we are still just trying to get into the groove of things - i know we wont completely be there until I go back to work in April, but we are working on it... Just trying to enjoy my last month off - I will miss my boys for sure, but I think I will be more then ready come April... :) Oh, and we are sick of this cold yucky weather... We want Spring!!!! :)

OY - and Seger's hair is starting to fall out in front, so he has the crown thing going on, and he looks like a tiny old man sometimes - hilarious!
You can check out awesome pics of Seger, and some fam pics on our phenomenal photographers website... see our link on the side, its Jane Harris Photography - she rocks!

THINK SPRING EVERYONE!!!

Welcome Seger Jace Paniwozik!!!

Kolton Welcomes New Baby Brother Seger Jace Paniwozik...

He's here! Seger Jace, born Monday, January 26, 2009 @ 3:32pm.
7 pounds 15 oz and 20 inches long! Our adorable 2nd bundle of joy!!!

Seger did give us a little scare at first. We went into the hospital on Monday around 1:15pm for our scheduled c-section set for 3:30pm. They bring you to a room to prep you (ask you all the annoying zillion questions) put you in your lovely gown, hook up your IV and hook you to fetal monitors (tracking contractions and baby's heart-rate). Well little Mr. Seger decided to have his heart-rate drop down pretty low... so the nurse moved me to my right side, and his heart-rate seemed to improve for about 15 minutes, then, as Scott and I were watching Rachel Ray (and I was starving by the way after fasting since midnight) Little Seger dropped his heart-rate again from the 170's to the 80's - they had initially said if it dropped again they would switch my position or put me on my hands and knees to try and get it back up. Well, he must have dropped lower than those options, because before i knew it - the nurse came back in with two other nurses, the anesthesia nurse, and the resident on call and they shoved a cathader in (not so fun) and rushed me upstairs for my c-section (Daddy was a little freaked out now - to say the least! So was Mom, but it all happend so fast)- they even warned that if his heart-rate did not improve fast - they may have to put me completely out (and not even let Scott in the room) to get baby out quick. Luckily I had one awesome nurse - that was almost on her knees while they wheeled me to the surgical room and prepped me for my spinal, just to keep the monitor on Segers heart-rate... and it did end up going back up- so they went ahead with the spinal block and ended getting him out safely (mom got bruised pretty badly out of the ordeal though). Seger wasn't quite finished giving us a scare - he had a little problem with his breathing, but finally he straightend that out too... (huge sigh of relief)! :)
Kolton is a great big brother. He was a little naughty at first (while mom was in the hospital) but he has been way better at home. He doesn't like to hold Seger so much, but he loves to kiss him and "keep an eye on him for me" (his words not mine!) :)

Mom is doing okay, but still in quite a bit a pain. The end result of this c-section was a little rougher then Kolton's, but its all worth it in the end, eventually I will heal and have my supermodel figure back... HA!

Enjoy the pics of our new little man (and his big brother)! I will try to keep updated with things. We have Seger's first doctor appointment on Friday, so I will try to update everyone on Seger's status after his check-up.
